Mini Recitals
The Monash Youth Music Festival offers rewarding (non-competitive) performance experiences in these disiplines:
"Two of Us" Duets
Any two instruments, including voice! Bring your friend or sibling along and have some musical fun!
Instrumental and Vocal Solos
Any instument, including voice! We offer all soloists (except piano) a free professional accompanist, or you may choose to bring your own.
VCE Music - Instrumental and Vocal Solos
Any instument, including voice! In this section, you must provide your own accompanist.
These sections are non-competitive, and offer the perfect introduction to eisteddfod performance without the pressure of competition. Participants gain valuable performance experience in front a warm and appreciative audience. All participants receive a detailed Adjudicator’s report based on the standard of their piece to assist them in perfecting these pieces for upcoming music exams. The Adjudicator concludes each section with an entertaining mini master class.
This experience greatly assists participants to prepare for future music festivals and eisteddfods, as well as music exams, school concerts and any occasion where your music may be shared.
Family and friends are warmly invited to come to any of our Festival sessions to watch our future musicians shine! Book your tickets through Trybooking.
