2022 मोनाश युवा संगीत समारोह
Welcome!
The Monash Youth Music Festival is a significant annual music festival held on the lands of the Wurundjeri People in the leafy City of Monash, Victoria Australia. This Festival draws well over a thousand young musicians from all over Melbourne each August to compete in forty-seven disciplines including Ensemble and Choral competitions, solo competitions and non-competitive mini recitals.
Entries to this year's Festival are open. Some sections have already sold out, so if you are thinking of entering, do so soon to avoid disappointment!

If you have entered this year's Festival, and for whatever reason you won't be able to attend, please let us know immediately so we can withdraw your entry and allow another person to take your place. Please note we do NOT give refunds this year (refer to our Rules and Conditions of Entry). We do not keep wait lists either, so keep returning to ⭐Stardom in case someone else withdraws and a place becomes available!

G01 Guzheng Solo, 12 years & under, time limit 3 minutes
G02 Guzheng Solo, 16 years & under, time limit 5 minutes
Performance date:
Sunday 3 August 2025, G01 - 5:30 pm, G02 - approx. 7:30 pm.
Venue:
St John's Uniting Church, 37-43 Virginia Street, Mount Waverley
The winners of G01 take home medals, while those of G02 take home cash! And for only $27 per entry, it is well worth a go. Entries are only via ⭐Stardom.
Volunteer!
We will need ushers, stage hands, marshals, registrar assistants and more - easy jobs that are essential to run the Festival. Excellent for IB CAS community service, Duke of Ed and other community services and looks great on your CV. CONTACT US today!

Please note that we have strict capacity limits in each section and once a section is closed, we cannot accept further entries. To make sure you don't miss out, sign up to our e-News so you will get a reminder when our entries are open. If you don't already have an account in Stardom, register today.
Your appearance on the programme will be randomised this year, so entering first does not mean that you will appear first on the programme, nor does it mean that if you entered just before close of entries that you will perform last!
We don't give refunds, so please be careful when you enter. School events are usually organised very early in the year, so if you have a school event that clashes with the Festival's, please do not expect a refund from the MYMF, but please let us know so we can take your entry out of Stardom and allow someone else to take your place.
