The Monash Youth Music Festival is a significant annual music festival held on the lands of the Wurundjeri People in the leafy City of Monash, Victoria, Australia. This Festival draws well over a thousand young musicians from all over Melbourne each August to compete in forty-nine sections including Ensemble and Choral competitions, solo competitions and non-competitive mini recitals.

Sign up for our e-news so you know as soon as entries open. Once they open, make sure you register as soon as possible! Some sections are only open for a day or two as they fill up very fast. Check first that you don't have any school or other events that are planned at the same time as our Festival, as we can't give a refund to you.

What happens when you have registered?

If you have registered, you must arrive fully prepared on your performance day, so please go to our Checklist page and start preparing. Please read our Rules and Conditions of Entry and ensure you comply with all our Rules!

Please return to ⭐Stardom to fill out or update your music title and composer. If you need an accompanist, you can also do that through

⭐Stardom!

You will receive your Notice of Appearance via email a couple of weeks after entries have closed, with your performance venue and the date and time you will need to arrive.

rehearsal sessions are available in the morning of the Mini Recital Day.

SOLO events are held at Mount Waverley Uniting Church (St Johns) 37-43 Virginia St, Mount Waverley and at the Salvation Army Waverley Temple. CHORAL and ENESMBLE sections are held at the Salvation Army Waverley Temple.

Check your Notice of Appearance for your venue.

DO NOT BE LATE! An entrant may be disqualified if not ready to perform when called. (See RULE 15).

Call your Registrar if you are having any issues.

ЗАЯВКИ НА МОЛОДЕЖНЫЙ МУЗЫКАЛЬНЫЙ ФЕСТИВАЛЬ «МОНАШ-2022»

Регистрация участников осуществляется только через STARDOM . Запись откроется 25 апреля 2022 года.

Заявки на молодежный музыкальный фестиваль Monash 2022 принимаются только через STARDOM. Убедитесь, что вы зарегистрировали учетную запись, если у вас ее еще нет. Прием заявок откроется 28 апреля и закроется 5 июня. Отдельные секции могут закрываться раньше по мере заполнения. Обратите внимание, что у нас есть строгие ограничения вместимости в каждом разделе, и после закрытия раздела мы не можем принимать новые заявки. поэтому, пожалуйста, убедитесь, что вы входите рано. Ваше участие в программе в этом году будет выбрано случайным образом , поэтому участие в программе первым не означает, что вы появитесь первым в программе. Ожидание до последней минуты для участия не гарантирует вам позицию к концу Программы, и вы рискуете вообще пропустить!

Please note that we have strict capacity limits in each section and once a section is closed, we cannot accept further entries. Your appearance on the programme will be randomised, so entering first does not mean that you will appear first on the programme, nor does it mean that if you entered just before close of entries that you will perform last.
