School Holiday Ideas

✨Hold a Mini Concert for your family and friends!

Why not hold a mini concert for your family and relatives? Learn a few Christmas carols, Auld Lang Syne and other festive music, then gather the family around to enjoy your concert! You can download lots of free sheet music from websites such as 8Notes - just be cautious when you click on any website with free downloadable music or images!

You can create a music programme using our Christmas Concert template, or make your own.

✨Hold a Mini Concert for the elderly!

Why not hold a mini concert for the elderly in your community? We make it easy for you - all you need to do is go to our Performance Opportunities page and fill out the Expression of Interest form.

Participating Aged Care facilities are listed on the Performance Opportunities page so you can choose one or two closest to you. Perform a few pieces of your favourite music for our dear senior citizens! They will be delighted to come and watch you play.

✨Compose an opera!

Using the amazing Blob Opera experiment, you can dabble in extraordinarily realistic vocal harmonies and compose your own opera! Simply click the link and follow the very simple and easy instructions. Just click on a Blob and hold down your mouse while moving the Blob forward, backward, up and down. After a bit of practice , you can record your composition!

✨Celebrate Oskar Fischinger’s genius!

To celebrate and honour the 117th birthday of the influential filmmaker and visual artist Oskar Fischinger, Google released this mesmerising musical Google Doodle. Compose, play and have fun!
